The Alamo Beer Series – Battle of Leon Creek Half Marathon in San Antonio, Texas on 4 November 2023 is a great race for both experienced and novice runners. The route takes runners along the beautiful Leon Creek Greenway, where they can enjoy views of native plants and wildlife as well as scenic San Antonio landmarks like Mission Concepcion.

The half marathon course offers a mix of flat terrain and gentle rolling hills that make it suitable for all running levels. The entire race is run on paved pathways with plenty of wide open spaces to spread out if needed. There are also some challenging uphill sections that will test your endurance but offer rewarding views at the top!

For those who love to sightsee while running, this race provides plenty of opportunities to do so. Along the way, you’ll pass by historical sites such as the Alamo, Spanish missions, and more; plus you’ll get a taste of local culture with art galleries, restaurants and shops located close to the course.
