About The Border to Badlands Ultra

The Border to Badlands Ultra Half Marathon in Comstock, Texas on 25 February 2023 is a great event for all levels of runners. The course is relatively flat and fast, featuring beautiful views of the surrounding desert and mountain ranges. Running this race will provide participants with an unforgettable experience as they traverse some of the most stunning landscapes in West Texas.

The route begins near the Mexican border and continues through several small towns before ending at an old railroad bridge outside downtown Comstock. Along the way, you’ll pass through canyons, riverbeds, sand dunes, rocky ridges and thick forests – giving you plenty of unique sights to take in along your journey!

The typical weather that time of year is mild but varies from day-to-day depending on where you are running; temperatures rarely drop below freezing during this period so it’s perfect for those looking to escape icy winter conditions elsewhere.
