About The Craft Beer Half Marathon

The Craft Beer Half Marathon in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 1st 2023 is a great event for runners of all abilities. The 13.1-mile course takes you around the beautiful city streets and suburban neighborhoods of Charlotte. It’s a flat and fast route that starts near downtown, winds through Freedom Park and Dilworth before heading back to Uptown, where the finish line awaits.

Along the way, runners will be treated to stunning views of some of Charlotte’s most iconic landmarks like Bank Of America Stadium and Romare Bearden Park as well as lovely residential areas with tree lined streets. The weather in April is usually mild with temperatures ranging from mid 50s to lower 70s during race day; perfect conditions for running!

Runners can also look forward to being cheered on by enthusiastic crowds at various points along the course – something that really makes this event special! There are plenty of people scattered around who come out early just to cheer on their friends and family members taking part – it’s an incredibly supportive atmosphere throughout the whole race. Not forgetting that craft beer plays a starring role here too! As part of your entry fee you get access to three post-race beer gardens so you can celebrate your achievement with an ice cold beer (or two).

In conclusion, if you’re looking for a fun half marathon experience then I’d definitely recommend registering for this one – it’s both challenging yet achievable at the same time, has wonderful scenery throughout its route, plus there’s plenty of support from spectators as well as refreshment stops every few miles making sure everyone stays hydrated and energised along the way. And let us not forget about those free beers after crossing over that finish line!
