About The CRC Hell’s Half Acre Marathon

The CRC Hell’s Half Acre Marathon in Fort Worth, Texas is a unique half marathon that takes place on 8 July, 2023. This challenging course runs through some of the most beautiful and historic parts of downtown Fort Worth and showcases the city’s vibrant culture.

As you start your race at Panther Island Pavilion, you will be welcomed by the cheers of spectators and then run along Trinity River to get an incredible view of Downtown Dallas before heading back towards Fort Worth’s cultural district. You’ll also pass by some iconic landmarks such as Stockyards Station and Billy Bob’s Texas Honky Tonk Bar for a truly unforgettable experience! As you make your way through downtown, there are plenty of places to stop for water or snacks if needed. The route then leads up to Magnolia Avenue where runners can enjoy scenic views from atop Hillside Park. From there it is an easy downhill finish back at Panther Island Pavillion with a great sense of accomplishment!

During this time in July, temperatures usually range between 85-95 degrees Fahrenheit during the day so make sure to stay hydrated throughout your run.
