About The Equinox Marathon

The Equinox Marathon in Fairbanks, Alaska offers a unique and challenging half marathon experience. Taking place on the 16th of September 2023, it’s the perfect time for runners to enjoy the beauty of autumn in Alaska.

The route starts at Pioneer Park and loops around downtown Fairbanks before heading out into the surrounding countryside. It follows a rolling path that takes participants through beautiful forests and wetlands, offering views of nearby mountains and local wildlife along the way. Runners will also get to take in some of Fairbanks’ most iconic landmarks such as Chena Lake Recreation Area and Murphy Dome Trailhead – both providing spectacular scenery throughout the race.
