About The Indiana Women’s Trail Run
The Indiana Women’s Trail Run is a unique half marathon experience. It takes place in July, and the scenery on this course is absolutely stunning. The route winds through several parks with lush green trees, riverside trails, scenic overlooks and plenty of wildlife to observe.
The race starts at Broad Ripple Park and follows the Monon Trail all the way to White River State Park, so you get an up close look at some of Indianapolis’ most beautiful landmarks along the way. At White River State Park you’ll have a chance to appreciate its landscaped gardens before heading back towards Broad Ripple via Central Canal Towpath. You won’t miss out on any sights as this path features downtown views such as Monument Circle, Victory Field Stadium and much more!
July weather in Indianapolis can be hot but not unbearable for running due to moderate humidity levels throughout the day—making it perfect for those who want to enjoy their run without feeling too warm or uncomfortable during their race! Plus there will always be aid stations throughout if needed where water or sports drinks are provided.
This event also draws large crowds from around town which really adds energy to your race experience; supporters cheering you on every step of the way! And lastly, one special thing about this half marathon that sets it apart from others is that each runner has access to a tracking app that allows them see how far they’ve gone live while participating in their own personal journey!
Overall I would highly recommend Indiana Women’s Trail Run Half Marathon for anyone looking for an exciting challenge with breathtaking views along the way—it’s definitely worth doing once in your lifetime!
