The Ocean View Half Marathon in Ipswich, Massachusetts is sure to be an unforgettable experience on 5 November, 2023. Runners will take part in a 13.1 mile course that offers stunning views of the ocean and rolling hills as they make their way through the historic town.
The racecourse begins at the start line located near downtown Ipswich before heading out along scenic country roads with breathtaking views of both the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding farmlands. The route then winds its way towards Crane Beach for roughly 3 miles before taking runners past some of Ipswich’s most iconic landmarks including Castle Hill Light House and Choate Island National Historic Site. After passing these sights, runners will navigate a short stretch around several lakes adjacent to Willowdale State Forest before looping back into town for a downhill finish at Market Street Park.
