About The Race to End Domestic Violence

The Race to End Domestic Violence in River Falls, Wisconsin is a half marathon that takes place every year on May 6th. It’s a great way to support the cause while taking part in an event that celebrates community and physical activity.

The route of the race starts downtown at Main Street, then winds through the scenic countryside of western Wisconsin. Along the way you’ll pass by rolling hills, lush forests, and meandering rivers – giving runners plenty of opportunity to take in some beautiful views while they run. The course ends back downtown near where it began; cheers from friends and family will help carry you across the finish line!

Weather-wise, May is typically mild with temperatures ranging from low 50s (Fahrenheit) during early mornings to high 70s (Fahrenheit) later in the day. While there may be occasional rain showers or even thunderstorms throughout this time period – don’t let this deter you as these are usually short-lived events!

Crowds for this half marathon tend to be quite large as people come out from all over Wisconsin (and beyond!) to participate or show their support for those running. Expect lots of cheering along with music playing on speakers set up at various points throughout the course which helps keep spirits high even when fatigue begins to kick in!
