About The Resolution Relay: B.Y.O.B. Bring Your Own Baton

The Half Marathon Resolution Relay: B.Y.O.B (Bring Your Own Baton) in Boring, Oregon is an exciting and unique event that takes place on the 8th of January 2023. This half marathon relay race offers a memorable experience for runners of all levels, from beginners to experts alike.

The route for this half marathon is both scenic and challenging; it begins at the Boring Community Park, where runners will have the opportunity to run around beautiful lakes while they enjoy views of Mt Hood off in the distance as well as forests full of evergreens and firs along their path. The course then winds its way through rolling hills with winding curves before heading back down towards a flat stretch near the finish line at Stub Stewart State Park which provides spectacular views overlooking the Willamette Valley below with snow-capped peaks shimmering in the background on clear days.

At this time of year typical weather conditions are usually mild but can vary widely depending on location; temperatures range between 30°F -45°F during daylight hours with occasional rain or snow showers possible throughout January so runners should be prepared for all kinds of weather when training and participating in this event!

As far as crowds go, there are usually quite a few people out cheering on participants during these races which makes them even more enjoyable; many local businesses often provide snacks or drinks to encourage racers too! There’s also several fun activities hosted by local volunteers after each race such as bonfires with hot chocolate and s’mores which allows everyone to celebrate their accomplishments together afterwards!

What sets apart this particular race from other similar events is its “bring your own baton” concept – instead of teams simply running one leg each like most relays do, teams must bring their own individual batons that can be passed between teammates throughout different legs allowing them to mix up who runs what part if desired – making it an especially fun challenge for those looking for something new!
