About The Run On The River
Run On The River in Astoria, Oregon on 13 May, 2023 is a must-do half marathon. This beautiful course takes runners along the Columbia River with stunning views of the iconic Astoria-Megler Bridge and some of the most dramatic scenery in Oregon.
The race route follows a flat track starting at Fort Stevens State Park and heading south to Hammond Marina. Along this stretch you’ll pass by historical sites and coastal towns such as Warrenton, Gearhart, Seaside, Cannon Beach and Manzanita before reaching your destination at Hammond Marina. The total distance for this race is 13 miles (21 kilometers).
