About The Six-O Trail Run

The Six-O Trail Run in Cleburne, Texas on 2 September, 2023 is a half marathon race that offers runners of all levels an unparalleled experience. The course winds through the rugged terrain and beautiful scenery of the Chisholm Trail State Park. As you make your way around the 13 mile loop, you’ll be surrounded by majestic live oak trees and gorgeous wildflowers blooming in shades of red, yellow and blue. You’ll also get to take in views of Cleburne Lake as well as breathtaking landscapes like Cedar Hill and Possum Kingdom Lake for some truly inspiring sights!

During this time of year temperatures range from 75 – 90 degrees Fahrenheit with mild humidity making it perfect running weather. The crowds are always supportive and encouraging, so even if you feel like giving up at times there will be people cheering you on along the route to keep your spirits high.

Another special aspect about this half marathon is its unique starting point; rather than beginning at a traditional starting line or track field, the race will start off with a one-mile climb up Cedar Hill before hitting the trails. This challenging start can really test your endurance but it makes for an exciting twist to what could otherwise be just another run! Additionally, after each runner crosses the finish line they receive an official finisher medal which serves as recognition for their hard work training leading up to race day – something competitors really appreciate!

Overall I highly recommend signing up for Six-O Trail Run if you’re looking for a rewarding challenge that takes full advantage of nature’s beauty while still providing plenty of motivation from fellow racers. With its scenic views paired with comfortable conditions during early fall months here in Texas there’s no doubt that participating in this event promises hours filled with both thrill and accomplishment!
