The Experience
The Hot Pursuit series in Long Beach, CA, invites runners and walkers to a friendly, personal racing experience along the scenic beach path. With distances ranging from 5k to a half marathon, the event is designed for all levels, emphasizing fun and affordability for the whole family.
Participants can look forward to a relaxed atmosphere with a 7:30 AM start time. The course utilizes the paved beach path, with the 5k being an out-and-back, the 10k and 15k consisting of multiple 5k loops, and the half marathon featuring 4.36-mile loops. A 3:15 time limit is in place for the half marathon.
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, and free photos and videos posted online. Runners can also enjoy an assortment of snacks and samples post-race. Group discounts are available by emailing the organizers.

Event details and scheduleAddress - * Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.) There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com All the participants will have their results posted with their names and times. And FREE pictures for everyone posted on our facebook page after the event! Pacers and crew are welcome at any time.
