The Experience

The Rodeo Valley Trail Run unfolds within the scenic Marin Headlands, starting near historic Fort Cronkhite and the dark sands of Rodeo Beach. This race is not for the faint of heart, featuring steep pitches and exhilarating downhill sections that undulate through the beautiful coastal hills.

Runners will be treated to astonishing views of the Pacific Ocean along the Coastal Trail and Pirates Cove. As you traverse the SCA Trail single-track, keep an eye out for glimpses of San Francisco and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. The course winds through the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, a haven for wildlife.

With a capacity of 400 runners across multiple distances including an 8K, Half Marathon, 30K, and 50K, the event caters to various abilities. The challenging terrain is softened by the breathtaking scenery, making even the toughest climbs more manageable.
