For more than 25 years, the Dream Mile has been a fixture on the Bay Area running calendar, drawing an anticipated 1,000 participants to Sunnyvale each September. Organized entirely by Vibha volunteers, this flat and fast course offers a rare combination: a PR-friendly half marathon that also fuels a global mission, with all proceeds supporting child development projects in India and the USA.
The out-and-back or loop course keeps elevation to a minimum, making it ideal for first-timers and speedsters alike. The energy is warm and community-driven—expect a crowd of families, seasoned volunteers, and runners who return year after year. Every registered runner receives a T-shirt and finisher's medal, and the post-race atmosphere is more about shared purpose than personal glory.
