The Experience

Set against the dramatic backdrop of Table Mountain and the Colorado foothills, the All-Out Spring Fever half marathon offers a refreshing start to the running season. This 15th annual event, held in Golden, Colorado, winds along the scenic shores of Arvada's Blunn Reservoir, utilizing the paved Ralston Creek Trail.

The course is a loop, designed to be fast and flat, making it an attractive option for those aiming for a personal best. Runners will enjoy the natural beauty of the area, with views of the reservoir and the surrounding landscape. The typical winning time of around 79 minutes suggests a competitive field, yet the event welcomes athletes of all levels.

With recent finishers numbering around 355, drawn from approximately 19 states, Spring Fever has established itself as a notable regional event. While the repeat-runner loyalty is modest at around 4%, the growing field trend indicates increasing popularity. The race also benefits the People and Pollinators Action Network and offers a chance to qualify for the BOLDERBoulder race.
