The Experience

The Beulah Challenge, first run in 1996, invites runners to experience the crisp mountain air of Colorado's historic Beulah Valley. This event, set near the small community of Beulah in the Wet Mountains, offers a half-marathon that winds through the iconic Pueblo Mountain Park on hiking trails, providing a scenic escape into nature.

All races start and finish at the local school, with the half-marathon course designed for a 3.5-hour completion time, welcoming runners, joggers, and walkers alike. The event is permitted by the town and monitored by race marshals and the Beulah Fire Department, ensuring runner safety on the course. Participants also have the option to join the Over It SOCO Race Series, which includes the Beulah Challenge half-marathon alongside other races in the region.
