The Experience
The Colorado 13er presents a unique blend of trail and road racing, set against the stunning backdrop of Louisville, Colorado, with spectacular views of the Flatirons. This well-supported, looped 13.1-mile course is designed to be kind to your body, featuring nine miles of flat, crushed gravel that appeals to both seasoned runners and first-timers.
With a growing field that has recently seen around 283 finishers, the event draws participants from approximately 11 states. Runners can expect excellent communication from the race crew, 10 aid stations, and gender-specific performance tees. The race, first run in 2013 and now in its 12th edition, offers a welcoming atmosphere for athletes of all levels, complete with a finisher medal and iced towels at the finish line.
