Every Super Bowl Sunday, Colorado Springs turns its downtown streets over to the Toyota Super Half Marathon & Game Day 5K. This flat, fast course — a PR magnet for locals and travelers alike — winds through the city's core, mixing pavement and trail. Indoor packet pickup at Plaza of the Rockies and a post-race party at Jack Quinn's Irish Pub round out the day.
Now in its 14th edition, the race draws about 415 finishers each year, with runners arriving from roughly 15 states. Loyalty runs high: nearly a third of participants return in later years. The event supports the Pikes Peak Road Runners, a club celebrating 50 years of promoting running in the region.

The streets and trails of downtown Colorado Springs are not exactly the "Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field," but on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, more than 1,500 runners will race for paydirt there in the 14th Toyota Super Half Marathon & Game Day 5K. This is Colorado Springs' Super Sunday Tradition! We have a flat and fast race course, indoor packet pick-up at Plaza of the Rockies, and a great post-race party and awards at Jack Quinn's Irish Pub! This race supports the Pikes Peak Road Runners, celebrating 50 years of supporting running, racing and healthful living in the Pikes Peak Region. New this year!
