The Experience
The Hollywood Beach Half Marathon & 5k, now in its 8th year, takes runners along the picturesque coastline of South Florida. Typically held in January and October, participants can expect warm, tropical weather as they race.
The course primarily follows the scenic Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, a paved beachfront promenade, offering ocean views and a lively atmosphere. This out-and-back route is known for its flat profile, making it a popular choice for those seeking a fast time or a comfortable scenic run.
Runners often praise the vibrant energy of the event, with spectators lining the boardwalk to cheer participants on. The race attracts runners from across the region and beyond, drawn by the unique setting and the promise of a well-organized event with a celebratory finish.
