The Experience
The 4th annual Margaritaville Run returns to Kissimmee, Florida, offering a flat, fast half marathon through the lush grounds of the Margaritaville Resort Orlando. With roughly 391 finishers from 23 states, this intimate race feels more like a private party than a mass event. The course, likely a loop on resort roads, is USATF-certified and pancake-flat, making it a prime candidate for a PR or a relaxed first half marathon.
The real draw is the post-race celebration. After crossing the finish line, runners are rewarded with a finisher medal, a participant tech tee, and access to a pre-race happy hour. The post-race expo features live music, and those 21 and older can enjoy a complimentary margarita and Landshark beer. With a competitive costume contest and raffles, the vibe is pure fun—a true run-cation where the miles feel easy and the worries melt away.
