The Experience

This event is a virtual half marathon, part of a larger initiative to complete 50 races in 50 states, with this being the 13th. Participants can run in their own communities while supporting Mothers and Fathers Truly Matter, a national mission dedicated to protecting children's relationships with both parents. The race aims to raise awareness about parental alienation and advocate for child-focused family court outcomes.

While the core event is virtual, the founder will be running in Key West, Florida. All funds raised directly support the organization's mission, contributing to strategic goals such as building a national advisory board and launching public awareness campaigns. This initiative highlights the emotional and developmental harm caused by unnecessary parent-child separation and advocates for fair access to both parents.

Race-provided description

This is a virtual race open to supporters across the country who want to take action for children and families. Participants can run, walk, or move in their own community while supporting a national mission to protect children’s relationships with both parents. This race is part of a larger effort to run 50 half marathons in 50 states, completing one race each month. Each run is dedicated to raising awareness about parental alienation, family court practices that separate children from a loving parent, and the urgent need for children to have reasonable access to both parents. Parental alienation and unnecessary parent-child separation cause long-term emotional, psychological, and developmental harm. This run exists to bring visibility to that harm and to advocate for fair, child-focused family court outcomes. This event is Run 13 of 50. The founder of Mothers and Fathers Truly Matter, Bob, will be running this race in Florida while supporters participate virtually from anywhere.  All funds raised from this race go directly to advancing the mission of Mothers and Fathers Truly Matter. Donations do not cover travel costs, race registrations, or personal expenses associated with the 50 state run. Those costs are covered separately. Contributions from this event support our first year strategic goals, which include building a national advisory board of legal and mental health professionals, launching a public awareness campaign focused on children’s right to both parents, publishing research and data that highlight custody trends and the impact of parental alienation, developing educational resources for families navigating the court system, and expanding outreach to grow a strong, engaged national support base. Your support helps lay the foundation for long term reform, credible advocacy, and meaningful change for families across the country.
