The Experience

UltraTrax North Florida is not a race—it's a timed walking challenge that invites you to go the distance at your own pace. The course winds through towering oaks, shaded pine forests, and rugged backcountry trails that showcase the raw natural beauty of the Suwannee River region. Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and set off between 7am and 10am, knowing you have 10 hours to earn the coveted Grey Wolf Medal. For an extra challenge, strap on a 10, 20, or 35-pound vest and unlock bonus swag and bragging rights.

This is an event built for all levels—walkers, hikers, and ruckers alike. The course is extremely well marked and stocked with aid stations to keep you going. The atmosphere is low-key and self-reliant, with a starting line that stays open for three hours so you can begin when you're ready. Finish, collect your medal, and know you've conquered one of the most untamed walking courses in the Southeast.
