Run For Her Life

This is the sixth annual "Run For Her Life" virtual/in-person 5K, Half-Marathon, and Kid's Fun Run! The Phoenix Phase Initiative is an Iowa-based 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping women who have been sexually trafficked around the world. These women are rarely given a chance to escape and, when they do get the chance, they RUN for it! The Phoenix Phase Initiative is there so they have a place to run to where they can be accepted, receive counseling, and learn job skills so they can break the cycle and create new lives for themselves and their children. The in-person race will have LIVE MUSIC, a FREE beer from Gezellig Brewing Company (or craft soda), and a food truck.  To be guaranteed a shirt the day of the run, PLEASE sign up by April 6, 2026.  Please note: Runners/walkers who sign up after April 6, 2026 WILL receive a shirt, but it will likely NOT be available the day before or the day of the race! They will be made after April 25 and distributed as soon as possible. This will be an open course, but there will be police presence and volunteers directing traffic at the major intersections. Please follow all traffic laws!
