The Experience
The Frisco Railroad Run threads through Missouri’s Ozarks on the Frisco Highline Trail, a 35-mile rail-trail that rolls through forest and farmland with barely a bump. The half marathon course mirrors the trail’s gentle grade, making it a natural speed course for trail runners—recent winning times hover near 81 minutes. With about 180 finishers in its latest edition, the race keeps an intimate, grounds-level feel.
Organized by the Ozark Mountain Ridge Runners, the event has grown over 16 editions, and roughly one in five runners returns for another go.
