The Experience
The RunAPalooza Half Marathon, part of the Jersey Shore Running Club's multi-race weekend, is a flat, fast tour of the iconic Jersey Shore. Starting and finishing in Asbury Park, the USATF-certified course winds through boardwalks and coastal towns, offering ocean views and a seaside breeze. With nearly 2,200 finishers, it draws runners from 28 states, and about 27% return year after year.
The 2026 edition serves as the NJ RRCA Half Marathon Championship, cementing its reputation as a PR-friendly race. The flat profile and lack of hills make it a prime choice for a fast time. Spectators line the boardwalk, and the finish near Convention Hall and the Stone Pony adds a festive, rock-and-roll vibe. Post-race, runners enjoy a T-shirt and the camaraderie of a well-organized event that balances small-town charm with big-race energy.
