The Experience
The Oak Tree Half Marathon, first run in 2005 and now in its 20th year, takes place annually on Labor Day weekend in historic Geneseo, NY. This USATF-certified course is known for its fast, flat profile, making it a prime spot for runners aiming for personal bests.
With a typical field of around 156 finishers, the race draws participants from about six states, and a loyal 32% return each year, underscoring its enduring appeal. The event is also recognized as a USATF Niagara Association 5km Championship, adding a competitive edge for some.
