The Oneida Lake Half Marathon, first run in 2015 and now in its 11th edition, promises a fast and scenic experience along New York's largest inland lake. The course is exceptionally flat, with minimal elevation change, making it a prime location for runners aiming for personal records.
Runners can expect beautiful views of Oneida Lake as they traverse the south side. The event, which also includes 10K and 5K races, draws participants from approximately 8 states, with a steady field size averaging around 86 finishers. A loyal contingent, about 21%, return year after year.
The race starts and finishes at the Bridgeport Fire Department. All finishers across the half marathon, 10K, and 5K receive a custom medal. The event proudly supports Cancer Connects, a non-profit dedicated to assisting cancer patients in Central New York.

The road course(s) are extremely flat (see elevation map- link below) and will take you along the south side of Oneida Lake, New York State's largest inland Lake with many scenic views of this impressive lake. If you are looking for a fast (PR) for your Half Marathon,10K pr 5K, look no further. The Start/Finish area will be at Bridgeport Fire Department in Bridgeport, NY. All finishers (13.1, 10K & 5K) will receive a finisher medal. The race event benefactor is Cancer Connects- a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides programs and services to facilitate the cancer journey for cancer patients throughout Central NY State (http://www.cancerconnects.org/). Over 90% of all donations to Cancer Connects goes directly to deserving CNY cancer patients.
