The Experience
A forest-to-summit trek up Gore Mountain’s wooded slopes and broad ridgelines. The route is almost entirely shaded and weaves creek-side paths, rooty woods, and ridge roads with Adirondack air and valley glimpses to reward every step. Push your pace. Carry your weight. Move with the pack. Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked. Trek Day Information UltraTrax Gore Mountain kicks off at 7am on July 19, 2026. The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am. It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course. Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. **IF YOU REGISTER AFTER 7/3/26, BIBS MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON. A friend or relative can pick up a bib if you can't attend. Complimentary parking is available onsite. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt and velcro patch. Level 3 and 4 participants will also qualify to earn our coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase after the race. Event Highlights Exhilarating Trails: Experience an incredible loop trail across Gore Mountain's scenic wooded terrain, offering stunning views and varied hiking paths. All Level Challenge: UltraTrax is designed for beginners and experienced athletes alike. Bring a friend and level up the route by adding weight to carry! Mission Driven UltraTrax is committed to making a positive impact beyond its events. A portion of all proceeds is donated to the Conservation Lands Foundation.
