The Experience
Fall 2026 Adult Full & Half Marathon Training in Apex is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs. The class is 16 weeks long and is geared toward helping adults train for a full or half marathon: be it their first or as a veteran runner looking to improve their race time. All levels and paces are welcome! The class will include a detailed daily plan over the 16 weeks, with 2 coached group runs per week, suggested cross-training & strength training workouts, and coach supported Saturday group long runs. Cost of the class is $85 if you register by 7/26/26. Registration cost from 7/27 - 8/23 is $90. Deadline to register is 8/23. No refund and no deferral if you drop the class after registering. If you have financial difficulty in affording a training class, please contact us. We have a donation program that can help out. Cost includes: 16-week training schedule, 2 coach-led group run workouts per week, email access to the coach throughout the program, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), training class shirt, strength training plan, coach-led Saturday group long runs, 15% off merchandise (shirts, hats) at The Running PTs, and weekly tips and running information from your coach and The Running PTs to supplement your knowledge. Coach John Tate will coach this class Program dates: August 2, 2026 - November 21, 2026. Group training will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:15PM-7:15PM, and there are group long runs with all fall adult classes on Saturdays at 7:00AM-9:00AM.. The class will meet on Mondays & Wednesdays rotating locations among: Hunter Street Park (1250 Ambergate Station, Apex, NC 27502), Apex Nature Park (2600 Evans Road, Apex 27502), Mills Park Middle School track (441 Mills Park Drive, Cary 27519), Koka Booth/Symphony Lake Greenway (8001 Regency Parkway, Cary 27518), Apex Community Park (1808 Lake Pine Drive), Ritter Park (301 W Lochmere Drive, Cary 27518), and the American Tobacco Trail - White Oak Church lot (1305 White Oak Church Road, Apex 27523). Regarding the rotating locations: Hunter Street Park: at least 1 class every week will be here, then rotating among: Apex Nature Park, Mills Park Middle School track, Symphony Lake Greenway, American Tobacco Trail - White Oak Church lot, & Apex Community Park.
