The real draw is the post-race celebration. Runners cross the finish line to delicious treats and are rewarded with a designer shirt and custom medal—excellent swag for a race of this size. Youth pricing ($17 for 5k/10k) makes it a budget-friendly family outing. A virtual option ensures no one misses out on the fun.

Though early in its history, the Hometown Half has built a loyal following, with about eight percent of runners returning each year. It’s a hidden gem for those seeking a low-key, well-supported race with a hometown feel. The half marathon also features pacers to help runners hit their goals, whether chasing a personal best or simply enjoying the journey.
