The Experience

The Horseshoe Hill Climb at Marmon Valley Farm promises a rugged trail running experience across its 500 acres. Runners will navigate bridle trails, farm lanes, and open meadows, traversing hardwood forests, ravine trails, open fields, and crossing creeks.

This event is designed for trail racers seeking a challenge, with no paved surfaces and the distinct possibility of muddy conditions. The 20K course is structured as a 10K loop, offering a test of endurance through varied terrain. The race serves a charitable purpose, raising funds to help children from economically challenged families attend summer horse camp.

Participants can choose from 5K, 10K, or the 20K distances. Early registration is advised to guarantee a race shirt, with the cutoff typically around late October.
