2027 Go Girl Run | Oklahoma City, OK

Go Girl Run brings its all-women's half-marathon and 5K back to OKC Riversport, now in its 14th year. The event is built around celebration — women supporting women, health, and fitness — and the riverside setting gives the morning a relaxed, open feel. With a median field of roughly 250 finishers and runners traveling from about a dozen states, it's an intimate stage for a big personal goal.

The course is a flat, paved loop, making it a forgiving route for first-timers and a reasonable shot at a personal best. Recent winning times around 95 minutes suggest a competitive but welcoming front end. Race-day weather typically starts in the mid-40s and climbs into the low 60s, with modest precipitation and a steady breeze — conditions that reward an even effort.

What sets Go Girl apart is the finish-line spoiling: every participant gets a custom race shirt, a finisher medal, a wine glass, and a post-race smoothie. A Little Miss GoGirl race for girls ages 2–13 adds a family thread to the morning. About 8% of runners come back in later years, so while the field is modest, the loyalty is real. It's a race that treats the half as a celebration first and a competition second — and for many women, that's exactly the point.
