Race-provided description

Many charity runner programs connect you to a cause. Team SRPS connects you to a community. When you join Team SRPS, you're not just raising money for a program. You're helping students and mentors across Philadelphia train for races, build relationships, and reach goals they may not have thought possible. Throughout the season, you'll have opportunities to meet students, attend community events, and experience the impact of your fundraising firsthand. On race day, you'll share the course with many of the young people your support helps make possible. SRPS engages youth in grades 6–12 through long-distance running. Running is the vehicle. Mentorship is the foundation. With the guidance of a trained Running Leader, students build confidence, discipline, and healthy habits while training for races from 10-mile, half marathon and full marathon distances. By running with us, you help ensure this program remains free and accessible to the youth and families we serve.
