Race for the Green 5K, Half Marathon, & Half Marathon Relay

The Race for the Green (Half-Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, and 5K is set in Seneca, SC, during March, typically a month in the South when the air is still a bit crisp in the morning and mildly warm as the morning progresses.  It's a fun event set in downtown Seneca where the energy is palpable and the finishers medal is one you'll be proud to own.  Adding to that, there are cash prizes and great swag! JUST REMEMBER! March 8th is the last day to register and be guaranteed a shirt! Come celebrate St. Patrick's Day with us by entering the Race for the Green.  ***REGISTER EARLY*** as there are price increases each month leading up to race day!!! CONTINUING IN 2026!!!! We will once again offer a 1/2 Marathon Relay. The first runner will register and create a team name. The second runner will then register under that team name. The first runner will start at the start line while the second runner will be tagged at Big Lots. The 2nd runner will wear the chipped bib for the finish time.
