The Experience
Now in its fourth year, the Whiskey Run Nashville is a flat and fast half-marathon that draws a modest field of around 200 runners. The course is reportedly pancake-flat, making it an ideal choice for beginners or those chasing a personal best. Nashville’s mid-spring weather offers comfortable temperatures in the mid-60s to low-80s, with minimal rain. The race also offers 10K and 5K distances, inviting runners of all levels to join the community event.
But the real reward comes after the finish line. Each runner receives a finisher medal, a Whiskey Run event shirt (or optional hoodie), and access to a curated whiskey tasting. A DJ keeps the energy high, and free parking adds to the hassle-free experience. It’s a small, well-paced race that combines a straightforward run with a celebratory toast.
