The Experience
The Caveman Challenge returns for its second year, inviting runners to tackle one of five distances—5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, or 50K—at Waterloo Lake Park in Denison, Texas. This event, first held in 2025, offers a chance to experience the park's natural beauty.
Packet pickup is available on Friday evening and again on Saturday morning before the races begin. The various distances start in quick succession on Saturday morning, with the 50K kicking off at 7:30 a.m. and the shortest events following shortly after. Aid stations will be available to support runners throughout their chosen distance.
