The Experience
The Outlaw Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K celebrate their 12th anniversary in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, starting in historic downtown Luckenbach. This event, presented by iRun Texas, is a springtime favorite, drawing runners from around 15 states.
The half marathon course winds through scenic backroads, featuring the rolling hills characteristic of the region and the potential for spectacular wildflowers and longhorn sightings in early April. The 5K and 10K are designed to be fast and flat, ideal for personal bests. All routes are out-and-back, with staggered start times beginning at 8:00 am.
Finishers are rewarded with a limited-edition medal, and top age-group performers receive commemorative license plates. The post-race celebration includes sausage rolls and a complimentary Shiner beer, capping off a day in "where everybody's somebody."
