Waco Run Tour - Battle of the Badges

Lace-up your running (or walking) shoes for the second annual Battle of the Badges Half Marathon & 5K, on Saturday, January 31st. This family-friendly event features a fun competition between the Waco Fire and Police Departments. Choose which team you will support when you register and let the battle begin! The race kicks off at 8am at Waco Fire Station 1. Race proceeds will be benefit both Waco Professional Firefighters - IAFF 478 & The Waco Police Association. This race is race #1 of the WACO RUN TOUR and designed to be fun for walkers and runners of all levels.  All participants of the 5K will receive a dri-fit t-shirt (if signed up before 1/18), and medal #1 of the WACO RUN TOUR. 1 milers will receive medal #1 of the WACO RUN TOUR.   Race day schedule: 8:30am: 1 Mile Fun Run 9:00am: 5K 9:45am: 5K awards   Early Packet pickup:  Friday January 30th 4PM-6PM Waco Fire Station 1 - 100 Peach Street Waco, TX 76706   Weather/Refund Policy: This is a rain or shine event. In the event of severe weather, all participants will be transferred to a virtual 5K option with the ability to run and submit your own time. No refunds will be given for any reason. In the event that you are unable to attend, your registration payment will be contributed to Waco Professional Firefighters - IAFF 478 & The Waco Police Association.
