The Experience

Set on Antelope Island, this race offers a unique running experience with the Great Salt Lake to the east and the island's mountain to the west. The course, which includes several rollers, presents a true marathon challenge, avoiding the common downhill bias found in many races.

With distances including a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K, the event draws participants from around 12 states. The median field size is approximately 182 finishers, with a growing trend. Runners can expect typical race-day temperatures between 47–68°F, making for a potentially pleasant, albeit sometimes windy, run. The island's natural beauty, including its resident bison population, provides a memorable backdrop for race day.
