2027 Woodinville Half and 10K

The Woodinville Half Marathon, now in its second year, offers a refreshingly simple and swift race experience. Starting from Wilmot Gateway Park, the course unfolds along the paved Sammamish River Trail and the Eastrail – an incredibly flat and fast out-and-back route that beckons runners chasing a personal best. With roughly 550 finishers each year, the field is intimate, drawing participants from about 15 states, many of whom are discovering this hidden gem in Washington’s wine country.

The atmosphere is low-key and community-driven, organized by the Snohomish Running Company. Aid stations appear every 2.5 miles with water, Gatorade, and energy gels, and compostable cups are provided. The 8 a.m. start means crisp morning air along the river, with views of the water and wooded banks keeping the miles pleasant. Parking is a half-mile from the start, adding a brief warm-up walk.

Crossing the finish line earns you a custom full-zip hooded sweatshirt, a finisher medal, and a Pop-Tart – a quirky, satisfying touch. While the race is young, its flat course and quality organization make it a promising fixture for first-timers and PR-seekers alike.
