2027 St. Paddy's Day Run Tacoma

The St. Paddy's Day Run Tacoma starts in downtown Tacoma and unfurls along the waterfront on the Ruston Way Path, Point Ruston Waterwalk, and Dune Peninsula Park. Runners cross the Wilson Way Bridge for a bird’s-eye view before returning downtown. The out-and-back course serves up a few rolling hills—just enough to keep the legs honest—and the harbor glitters alongside the whole way.

This growing half-marathon drew nearly 800 finishers in its most recent edition, with runners traveling from about 15 states. About one in five participants is a repeat runner, a testament to the event’s warm local charm. The finisher medal is famously festive, and proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County, giving every mile a cause beyond the clock.
