We’re rolling back entry price!  The South Shore Half Marathon is known for being a fun, affordable, early-spring race, and famous for its “ugly gloves”. What you receive: A great price and ugly gloves! Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026 Where: South Shore Pavilion Course: Out & back on a paved recreational path along the beautiful Lake Michigan shore (park and lake views) Cost $30 for BLS members through 1/31$40 non-members through 1/31$40 for BLS members 2/1 to 4/3$50 non-members 2/1 to 4/3$60 race day  (No Cash Accepted, card only) Perks (runners & volunteers): Ugly gloves and post-race party in the Pavillion. Think you'll need more than 3 hours to finish? If so, we will have an early start at 8:15am for those thinking they'll need more than 3 hours to finish. The remainder of the runners will begin at 9:00am. Nothing in between. Awards Overall male and female in each event and age group awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age group M/F: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 and over.  Anyone who starts at 8:15 will not be eligible for Overall awards, but will be eligible for age group awards.
