Inside the 2026 Greenville Results and Standouts

Welcome to the finish line. This past weekend, the running community showed up in a big way as over five thousand runners took to the streets of South Carolina for the 2026 Greenville half marathon. Whether you were chasing a long-standing personal best, tackling your very first 13.1, or simply enjoying the miles with your favorite training partners, it was a massive day worth celebrating.

Greenville 2026

The Greenville half marathon brought out an impressive 5,333 finishers this year. It is always exciting to see a race draw a broad crowd, and runners traveled from 43 different states to cross this particular finish line, making it a true destination race for the 50-state challenge crowd and weekend adventurers alike.

The front of the pack was moving fast. Jack Aho from Charlotte, NC, took the top spot with a blazing time of 1:01:15, holding an incredible average pace of 4:40 per mile.

The top three finish times of the day were:

  • Jack Aho (Charlotte, NC) — 1:01:15
  • Jack Aho (Charlotte, NC) — 1:01:16
  • Zac Truman (Rochester, MI) — 1:05:46

While it is always fun to see how fast the front pack is moving, the true heart of any half marathon is right in the middle of the crowd. The median finish time for the day was 1:59:29. That number represents a strong, steady effort from the thousands of runners who put in the early morning training miles, supported each other through the tough stretches, and pushed all the way to the end.
