Race day is just one week away for two hot July offerings:
- Run Magic City – Birmingham, Alabama, on July 18. Summer running in the Magic City.
- Heatwave Half Marathon - Little Rock – North Little Rock, Arkansas, also July 18. The name says it all.
On July 26, head to Maryland for the MCRRC Riley's Rumble Half Marathon in Boyds. Then on July 31, the Run Mahomet in Illinois closes out the month.
Late Summer Targets
If you're looking further out, these August races are worth the trip:
- Goodyear Half Marathon & 10k – Akron, Ohio, on August 8.
- Anchorage RunFest – Anchorage, Alaska, on August 15. A stunning course with cooler temps.
- Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon and Two Mile Race – Parkersburg, West Virginia, also on August 15.
East Coast runners have a great double-header on August 15 with Anchorage and Parkersburg—one epic, one classic.
