HalfRuns Daily Dispatch: July 15, 2026

Fresh results just landed for four races, led by a massive field in Ohio. Plus one brand-new event added to the calendar.

Big Results Drop: Capital City Half Marathon

The Capital City Half Marathon in Columbus, Ohio, pulled in 5,753 finishers for 2026 — by far the largest results update today. If you ran it, check your time.

California Double: Wine Country & a New Cause Race

Two California races feature in today's update. The Santa Barbara Wine Country Half Marathon in Solvang delivered 1,522 finishers — view results.

And we added a new race: the Fredrick Michael Gibson 5K/10K & Half Marathon Walk/Run for Depression Awareness in Simi Valley, set for October 11, 2026. A meaningful run with a purpose.

Small but Mighty: Tiny Fields, Big Stories

Sometimes the smallest races tell the best stories. The Texas Triple in Dallas had just 58 finishers — a gritty challenge. Even smaller: the Lindsay Creek Wine Run 5k & Half Marathon in Lewiston, Idaho, logged only 16 finishers in 2024. See their results.

What's Next?

With fall races starting to fill the calendar, the October 11 date for the new Simi Valley half gives you about 12 weeks to train. Time to lace up.
