Big day for results. The Rocky Mountain Half Marathon & 5K dropped results for 752 finishers — the biggest field we pulled today. That’s a serious crowd for a mountain race, and it tells you something about the pull of Estes Park as a late-summer destination.
Also in the results queue
- Park City Trail Series — 272 finishers. Full results are live, and they show a healthy trail turnout in Utah.
- Green Valley Lake 5k/10k/& Half Marathon — a smaller, 98-finisher field but no less proud. Check the results page.
What jumps out
All three races sit in the Mountain West — Colorado, Utah, and Southern California’s San Bernardino Mountains. It’s a reminder that even in August, racers are chasing altitude and pine trees over flat pavement. The 752-finisher Rocky Mountain Half is the clear outlier; for comparison, the other two combined total 370 finishers. That kind of gap says something about how a race with a national reputation can dominate a weekend.
If you ran any of these, your time is now searchable. If you’re planning a fall race, the results pages are a good way to scout the competition.
That’s the dispatch. More results tomorrow.
