Today on HalfRuns: DC Half Results & New CT Races

DC Half Races lead today's results haul with 9,577 finishers. Plus new Hamden, CT races and 52 races of fresh finisher data on HalfRuns.

October 20, 2026

The big number: 9,577

That's how many finishers crossed the line at the DC Half Races in Washington, D.C. — and we just pulled every one of those results. It's the largest single field in today's haul by a wide margin, and a reminder that the capital's half scene is running at full capacity.

Fresh results, coast to coast

We added 52 races' worth of finisher data today — roughly 39,375 result rows total. Here are the headliners:

More from the pile:

…plus 37 more races now searchable with full results.

New races on the calendar

Two new Connecticut races just landed, both in Hamden:

The pattern: Pennsylvania is stacking up

Today's results include three Pennsylvania races — Bird-in-Hand (1,917 finishers), YMCA Harrisburg (487), and the ASICS Susquehanna River Running Festival in Maryland just across the line (713) — and the two new races we added are both in Connecticut. The mid-Atlantic corridor is quietly becoming one of the busiest half marathon regions on the site. If you're chasing a fall or spring goal, that's a lot of options within a few hours' drive.

Coming up fast

May 29, 2027, looks far off until you remember that's Memorial Day weekend — a popular race weekend that fills quickly. The Hamden Hills Half is already on the board; if it's on your list, don't wait for the calendar to flip.
