The Experience
The Feliz Navidad Run offers a unique holiday experience on the Long Beach coast, blending Christmas cheer with Mexican fiesta flair. The half marathon course runs along Ocean Boulevard, with ocean views and festive decorations lining the route. Runners are treated to a flat, fast course ideal for a PR attempt, though the real draw is the lively atmosphere: holiday music, colorful decorations, and a live DJ at the finish line festival.
This is a small, community-focused event with easy parking and day-of registration. The custom finisher medal celebrates the holiday theme, and free race-day photos capture the fun. While the race is new and lacks extensive history, it delivers a joyful, low-key alternative to traditional Christmas runs. The combination of sunshine, sea breeze, and margarita-inspired holiday spirit makes it a delightful way to kick off the season.
