Autumn Run

Now in its 18th edition, the Autumn Run visits the historic town of Buena Vista, Colorado, a picturesque gateway to the Collegiate Peaks. The course is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful in the state, winding through the upper Arkansas River Valley with mountain views at every turn. Though field sizes are modest — around 144 finishers, with runners from nine states — the race has a loyal following, with about 14% returning year after year.

The half marathon begins with a shuttle from McPhelemy Park to a narrow road start; participants are encouraged to park and ride to avoid congestion.
