Basalt Half Marathon & Relay

The Basalt Half Marathon race combines the stunning beauty of the Frying Pan Valley and a fast downhill course for a great summer race experience. Come celebrate our 49th annual race and bring a friend. This race is a benefit for the Basalt High School Cross Country team.Event details and scheduleRace begins at 7:45am, buses depart for start line at 7:00am sharp from Basalt Middle School. Packet pick-up and race day sign up is from 6:15-6:50am.  Parking is available at Basalt Middle School, which also serves as the finish area.  Gear check is avaiable from the start line as well as the relay exchange point to the finish area.  Bathrooms will be available at Basalt Middle School, start line, and relay exchange point.  Awards for top 3 male and female overall, medals to top 3 in each age group male and female, and relay team devision winners.
